Non-US Residents in Our Online Affiliate Program

Non-U.S residents who earn money from our online affiliate programs will be asked to submit a W-8 form. It is very easy to fill in the form and is required by the Department of Homeland Security.

W-8 form or W-8BEN is the "Certificate of Foreign Status of Beneficial Owner for United States Tax Withholding." U.S. Law requires this form be kept on file as proof that taxes are not due for foreign affiliates.

Download the official W-8BEN form from US IRS: IRS official PDF Form, fill it out and return to us a signed copy.

We will accept a scanned signed copy of this form. You can upload a copy into NATS by logging in and visiting the "My Account" page and choosing the "Account Details" tab. Simply scroll to the "W-9 Information" header, click "Modify" and fill out the resulting page. Foreign affiliates do not need a W-9.

Filling the W-8BEN Form

Part I: Identification of Beneficial Owner

Fill in the following fields:

Name of Individual or organization that is the beneficial owner – Your full legal name.
Country of incorporation or organization – Your Country
Type of beneficial owner – tick "Individual"
Permanent residence address… – Your mailing address, with city/town, state, postal code, and country
SSN (Social Security Number) is not mandatory.
Enter your affiliate username in line 8.

Part II: Claim of Tax Treaty Benefits

On line no.9 "I certify that (check all that apply):", tick " #a - The beneficial owner is a resident of …" and fill in your country in the blank field.

Part III: Notional Principal Contracts

Tick line no.11, "I have provided or will provide a statement that ….".

Part IV: Certification

Place your signature at "Sign Here" and fill in the Date. Note that it is in the MM-DD-YY format, month comes first before date. Example: 06-29-11. You're done! Fax, mail, email or upload the W8 form back to us.
